SichtLautCADEIRAS
Ein Performance Installation
Design-Objekt und zugleich Massenprodukt, ausgemustert und als Kunstobjekt wieder auferstanden: 140 Thonet-Stühle bilden den ungewöhnlichen Mittelpunkt des Performance-Projektes SichtLaut Cadeiras.
Die anfangs ordentlich aufgereihten Cadeiras (portugiesisch für "Stühle"), mit denen die Gruppe SichtLaut Abend für Abend ein neues Spiel beginnt, antworten auf tänzerische und musikalische Impulse und die Herausforderung durch konkurrenzhaft raumgreifende Videobilder. Sie tun es einzeln und gemeinsam, laut und leise, konzertiert und chaotisch. Sie verteidigen als Objekte ihren Raum und beginnen, belebt, wie Subjekte miteinander zu korrespondieren. Der außergewöhnliche künstlerischer Gebrauch gibt dem Massenprodukt seine Einzigartigkeit zurück.
Unusual space, body and sound patterns, shifting boundaries between instrument and body, between movement and music are the focus of this piece. Kai Angermann, Justin Sebastian, Geraldo Si and Klaas Verspoest are soloists who deal with the group to act in it or to use it. The internal structure of the piece results of their human and artistic qualities. It is neither a single artistic style shown, nor the full range of current contemporary art. The point is to create an artistic organism, whos confrontation and harmony turns out to be viable on the stage.
